We believe in being open about how Telegram Translator works and how we handle your data.
How It Works
When you use Telegram Translator:
- Messages are sent to Google Translate API for translation
- Translated text is returned and displayed in your chat
- We log language pairs and counts for statistics only
- Message content is not permanently stored
Data We Collect
- User IDs: To store your language preferences
- Chat IDs: To manage group settings
- Translation stats: Language pairs and counts (anonymized)
We do NOT store: message content, personal information, or conversation history.
Third-Party Services
- Google Translate: Provides translation services
- Cloudflare: DNS and security
- Telegram API: Bot communication
